Exhibitions, Displays, Talks & Lectures

 

We can plan and/or organise displays and exhibitions relating to the history of Rugby Football. The memorabilia currently displayed in our on-line Museum is only a fraction of our collection. We can arrange exhibitions relating to a particular country, club, area or theme. We are happy to travel to accommodate your requirements. Please read on for more information about our services.  

EXHIBITIONS

In 2006 we provided around 90% of the exhibits for the Welsh Rugby Union, 125th Anniversary exhibition in the Gwyn Hall, Neath. We also prepared the exhibition and organised the historical context surrounding the relevant topics. To view this exhibition please............... CLICK HERE

DISPLAYS

During the 2007 Rugby World Cup we organised a two case display for Qantas Airlines in the east end of London to run alongside an indoor touch rugby tournament. We featured the development of the ball and the boot as the topics of interest. To view this display, please click on the links below.

TALKS AND LECTURES - We specialise in the origin of rugby and sport in general and can give lectures and/or talks on this subject with the relevant illustrations and/or accompanying exhibits. The museum curator Dai Richards has written a book on the origin and evolution of sport in particular Rugby Union.
