This is an very nice antique publication with photographs and biographies of leading cricketers, teams and grounds. On the whole this is a very difficult book to find because most have been split for the individual plates/photographs which make exceptional prints. Many team groups are featured including Australia (1893), Somerset, Gloucestershire and other English counties, There are a great number of individuals within the book including 2 portraits of WG Grace and WG Junior, Australian cricketers, etc, please see the illustrations of the index pages for a full list of cricketers and teams.

Published in 1895 by Hudson & Kearns, London - 288 pages

The book was only published in large format (15" x 10" = 37cm x 25cm) and weighs 2.5kg.

The cover of this very collectable edition is in red leather with eye catching gold block lettering and decorative design with cricket illustrations.

Noted faults: there are a couple of light nicks to the edge of the spine.

Generally the condition of the book is very good including the inside pages, which is remarkable considering its age.

The book was only published in large format (15" x 10" = 37cm x 25cm) and weighs 2.5kg.

The cover of this collectable edition is in a dark leather with gold block lettering and cricketer illustrations. It is an ex-library edition with a sticker inside the front cover. There doesn't see to be the usual library markings, on inspection the inside contents appear to be very good. The front cover has detattached from the spine which is missing approximately one third. The remaining portion of the spine is very faded and loose in places.
