HENRY GEORGE 'HARRY' ATTWOOD Harry Attwood was born in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire in 1905. Joining the Royal Navy as a 'Boy 2nd class' he rose through the ranks, eventually releasing himself from the service as a Petty Officer in October 1945.
